The family will welcome visitors at 1:00pm followed by a service at 2:00pm. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 18th at Village Baptist Church (906 S McPherson Church Rd, Fayetteville, NC). Edith is survived by her two daughters, Julie McLamb and husband Tommy, Suzanne Hedgepeth and husband Todd her three grandchildren, Taylor Pascoe and husband Braden, Garett Butler and husband Preston, Parker Hedgepeth and her great grandson Ryder Pascoe. Edith touched the hearts of many and will be greatly missed. As a former breast cancer survivor, she felt called to give back to her community by meeting with cancer patients at Health Pavilion North Cancer Center. A dedicated volunteer, she spent many days working at the Senior Center in Fayetteville as well as Operation In As Much, and was recognized as Volunteer of the Year. She loved reading, spending time in nature, but most of all being with her family. Edith loved the Lord and was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church and later she attended Village Baptist Church with her family. She was preceded in death by her brother John Latham (JL) Parker and her loving husband, Charles E.
